Poul Schlüter's successor was the Social Democrat Poul Nyrup Rasmussen.
The Liberals, led by Poul Hartling, governed between 1973 and 1975 with only 22 seats in the Folketing.
Schlüter led a number of successive non-Socialist governments until 1993 and became the longest-reigning Prime Minister since Stauning.

Only the original 90 mm was stolen with another Leica and then replaced around 1980 with the 90 mm Tele-Elmarit in black that goes with it now.

Denmark is one of the smallest EC member countries with its 5,1 million inhabitants, but Denmark holds a strong position when it comes to daily papers.
