Mikhail Saakashvili (Georgian: მიხეილ სააკაშვილი) (born December 21, 1967, in Tbilisi) is a Georgian jurist and politician and the current President of Georgia.
Saakashvili graduated from the School of International Law of the Kiev State University (Ukraine) in 1992.
On October 12, 2000, Saakashvili became Minister for Justice for the government of President Shevardnadze.
