Parliament of Canada - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Bills introduced by members who are not Ministers are known as Private Members' Bills (in the case of the House of Commons) or as Private Senators' Bills (in the case of the Senate).
With the members of the House of Commons remaining at the Bar, and with the senators seated in the Senate Chamber, the Monarch or the Governor General (seated on the Throne) delivers an address known as the Speech from the Throne.
The Sovereign is normally represented by the Governor General, who appoints the 105 members of the Senate on the recommendation of the Prime Minister.

 Parliament
The Acts of the British Parliament concerning its American colonies during the years 1763-1776 were not arbitrary.
You will need to research the historical role of Parliament and internal and external forces that lead to the passing of the Proclamation of 1763, the Quartering Act, the Stamp Act, and the Townshed Acts.
The objective of this project is to help students understand the reasons for patriot distaste with British rule by providing students the opportunity to argue and thus understand the British reasons for passing the Proclamation of 1763, Quartering Act, Stamp Act, and Townshed Acts.
