The Indian Parliament consists of two houses - the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha - and the President of India.
This is the supreme legislative body of the Republic of India.
Any bill can become an act only after it is passed by both the houses of the Parliament and assented by the President.

The Malaysian Parliament is also modeled after the Parliament of the United Kingdom, and consists of two houses, known as the Dewan Rakyat (House of Representatives) and Dewan Negara (Senate).
A Member of Parliament, or MP, is a representative elected by the voters of an electoral district to a parliament; in the Westminster system, specifically to the lower house.
