The chamber of the United States House of Representatives is located in the south wing of the Capitol building, in Washington, D.C. The United States House of Representatives is one of the two houses of the Congress of the United States.
Like the Senate, the House of Representatives meets in the United States Capitol in Washington, D.C. At one end of the chamber of the House is a rostrum from which the Speaker presides.
The presiding officer of the House is known as the Speaker.
