As American political society developed along the liberal model, anarchist thoughts were expressed in the writings of Henry David Thoreau (Civil Disobedience), Josiah Warren, and Benjamin Tucker.
Anarchists believe that if they were to support a war they would be strengthening the state — indeed, Peter Kropotkin was alienated from other anarchists when he expressed support for the British in World War I.

The Green Terrorist Poster Boy Governor of Oregon with his left wing judges has banned all under cover work in Oregon to investigate these green terrorists and of course the IslamaKazis in Portland and other university towns.
If the governor of the State of Oregon, the mayor of Portland and the left wing judges in Oregon will not allow any undercover work by the FBI or any police agency, then there is nothing we can do until they start fires and get arrested.

While I was pleased David Watson took a public position on both Green Anarchist and John Moore in his ‘Swamp Fever’ article (Fifth Estate, Fall 1997), I felt that at times he indulged in gross misrepresentation.
Watson might like to clarify his position on this.

 Insurgent Desire - A Dialog on Primitivism
LJ: The first and seemingly main objection thrown at a primitivist outlook is that "millions will die immediately" whether through starvation or genocide, if the state and industrial civilization were dismantled.
LJ: I met a guy at the North American Anarchist Conference who's diabetic.
Primitivism, on the other hand, seems to be a more theoretical perspective, celebrating (critically, of course) the pre-civilization 99% of human existence when there was no state or any other institutionalized forms of political power.
