United States Attorney Jane J. Boyle announced today that Frederick Charles Miller, a CPA and former accounting manager for the City of Grand Prairie, Texas, pled guilty today to money laundering and tax evasion charges.
Miller, has been in federal custody since his arrest on June 20, 2003, on charges outlined in an eleven-count indictment that was returned by a federal grand jury in Fort Worth earlier that month.
Today, Miller entered his guilty plea, before the Honorable John H. McBryde, United States District Judge, to one count of money laundering, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 1957 and one count of tax evasion, in violation of 26 U.S.C. § 7201.
