Bublé, who began singing in Vancouver-area clubs at 17, is often compared to great American crooners like Harry Connick Jr.
Mega-producer David Foster, who first heard Bublé  sing at Caroline Mulroney's wedding, signed him to his own label.  "He's awesome.  It's like working with Beethoven or something cause, you know, he's writing the standards of tomorrow today," Bublé says.
Bublé just released his self-titled debut album:  "It's my first record with a major label and it was just a blast to make.  What's cool about it is that we made it kind of contemporary, not all 40s tunes, 50s tunes," he says.  He even covers George Michael's 80s hit "Kissing a Fool."

As part of the album launch, Buble made his first U.S. TV appearance during the Super Bowl pre-game show.
