Someone else I realise I ought to have mentioned as an obvious influence on my Paperchase work yesterday was John Baldessari.
I had an enquiry the other day about the great Sophisticated Boom Boom, an all girl group from Glasgow in the early to mid ‘80s who took their name the fab Shangri Las song and who later mutated into the rather less wonderful His Latest Flame (they were still good, but not AS good).

The deal, which should ensure that Arsenal and Tottenham fans ditch their Samsung phones in their thousands, lasts for five years.
The five year deal, which starts on June 1, 2005, is the biggest ever sponsorship deal signed by Chelsea and the second largest by Samsung after its sponsorship of the Olympic Games.
